New on Tiresias: Track Your Collection, Get Alerts, and See the Model Graded

Published July 15, 2026 · By Project Tiresias

Project Tiresias started as a free forecaster for the Magic singles market. Over the last few weeks it has grown into a full market-intelligence platform — track your collection, get alerted before a card moves, know when to sell, and check the model's public track record. Here is everything new, plus the three plans that come with it. The forecasts stay free.

The oracle Tiresias overseeing a constellation of Magic cards, price charts and ledgers

If you've used the site before, the core is unchanged: daily 7, 14, and 30-day price forecasts for 68,000+ Magic: The Gathering singles, each with a confidence range and the catalysts behind the move. What's new is everything around the forecast — the tools that turn "what's this card going to do?" into "what should I do about my collection?"

Your collection, tracked and valued

The new dashboard lets you build your collection and see it priced by the same model that powers the forecasts. Add cards, set what you paid, and you get:

Alerts so you never miss a move

You shouldn't have to refresh a movers page all day. Set it once and let the site watch for you:

The Sell/Hold Advisor

The question every collection eventually raises is "what should I actually sell?" The Advisor answers it card by card. It reads your whole collection and returns a plain verdict for each holding — SELL, TRIM, TAKE PROFIT, HOLD — by combining the model's forecast, live buyout and reprint-risk signals, and your own cost basis. A "top actions" view surfaces the handful of cards worth acting on today, so you're not scrolling a spreadsheet looking for them. It's the reseller's edge, built in.

The Report Card: the model, graded in public

Anyone can claim a model predicts prices. We'd rather show you. The new Report Card archives every forecast the model publishes and grades it against what the price actually did — hits and misses both shown, nothing cherry-picked. It's a public, always-free page, and it holds the model to the same standard we'd want from anyone asking us to trust a forecast. The model is strongest over the 30-day horizon, and the page shows every horizon anyway — including where it's weaker. Judge it for yourself.

Built on honest data. Forecasts are trained on real market history and adjusted for reprints, tournament results and demand signals. Prices via MTGJSON, card data via Scryfall, metagame via Topdeck.gg — all credited on-site, and every forecast is not financial advice.

Also new: advanced search

Beyond the basic search, there's now a Scryfall-style advanced search — filter the whole catalog by set, rarity, price, and card attributes to find exactly the cards you want to forecast or track.

Three new plans (the forecasts stay free)

To keep the lights on and the model running daily, Tiresias now has three tiers. The most important line first: the forecasts, search, every card page, and the Report Card are free, forever, no account needed. The paid plans add collection tooling on top — they never gate the predictions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Magic price forecasts still free?

Yes. The forecasts, search, every card page, and the public Report Card stay free with no account required. The paid plans add collection tooling on top — they never put the forecasts behind a paywall.

What do the Collector and Pro plans include?

Collector ($5.95/mo) adds CSV import from ManaBox, Moxfield and TCGplayer, a seller CSV export, and a weekly email digest of your movers. Pro / Seller ($14.95/mo) adds everything in Collector plus the Sell/Hold Advisor and deeper alerting. A free account already includes collection tracking, portfolio P&L, a watchlist, and in-app alerts.

What is the Report Card?

A public, always-free page that grades the model's forecasts against what prices actually did. Every forecast is archived and then scored at maturity — hits and misses both shown — so you can judge the track record for yourself instead of taking accuracy claims on faith.
